Officers were called to the 100 block of Faywood Court in Glen Burnie shortly before 11 p.m. on Oct. 8 to investigate a reported assault that would ultimately lead to the arrests of five people for various offenses.
Those arrested:
- Jeremy Oliver, 36;
- Antoine Darnell Artis, 56;

According to police, a man was walking toward his apartment with a friend when they were approached by a group of suspects who "asked him what he was doing in the neighborhood," before Oliver allegedly shot him in the face with the pellet gun.
The two were able to get away, contacted the Anne Arundel County Police Department, and upon officers' arrival, two men were spotted fleeing into the apartment complex.
Officers also spotted a white Mercedes - driven by Holland - which was quickly stopped and she was fleeing the area, and during a search of the vehicle, PCP was recovered.
She was detained without incident.
Police say that Artis was found in the stairwell of the apartment in possession of a handgun, and the victims then pointed officers to the suspect's apartment in the complex.

Oliver, the assault suspect, was inside the apartment, as were Williams and Acosta, who had outstanding warrants out for their arrests that were served.
Artis was charged with possession with intent to distribute and a handgun violation.
Oliver was charged with first-and second-degree assault, as well as possession with intent to distribute.
Holland was charged with possession with intent to distribute.
